Microban® Anti-Microbial Labels

The brief from our customer was to screen print and produce a range of labels and graphic overlays which when used in a hospital environment would inhibit the spread, and potentially kill, harmful bacteria thus reducing the risk of patients contracting MRSA.

Sussex Screen Printing were the first company in the UK to use this innovative new label material. The polyester material we used has the Microban® ingredient as an integral part of its make up.

The Microban® ingredient runs all the way through the label, not just on the surface, so as the label is subjected to general hospital cleaning and wear and tear, the Microban® ingredient is released.
